With over two decades of technology experience, Patrick has worked in the role of Software Developer, Systems Architect, Project Manager and Technology Manager overseeing multi-million-dollar software initiatives. in Management Information Systems from Florida State University. He started his career in technology after earning a B.S. Patrick is currently a Senior Technology Manager for Cox Automotive, an Atlanta based company representing over 25 brands globally helping a wide diversity of clients thrive in the automotive marketplace. Such formidable years often bring out the worst in students, but NFC created an atmosphere that fostered growth in my faith that would help me make wise decisions that would guide my future for years to come." Of her time at NFC, Ashley shared, "NFC served as a safe environment where I was surrounded by teachers and friends that loved Jesus and wanted to develop me into the kind of person that could really make an impact in this world. Currently, Ashley serves part-time as Executive Director of Horizon Church completing administrative tasks, volunteer coordination, and service coordination. In 2016, Ashley, Austin and their daughter Arya ("Lioness" in Hebrew) moved to Waukesha, Wisconsin to start Horizon Church. In 2014, Ashley transitioned in Curriculum Development working with Apex Learning. After graduation, Ashley returned to Tallahassee where she taught at Florida State University School and supported her husband Austin, who she wed in 2010 in his role as Student Pastor at Generations Church. At Southeastern, Ashley was a member of the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society for Educators. More importantly, NFC helped ground me with a personal understanding of the foundations of my faith.”Īshley graduated from Southeastern University in 2010 with a degree in Secondary Education. I quickly learned that I was as well prepared,if not better prepared, than my college classmates for the rigors of college writing and classwork. When asked about his time at NFC, Scott noted “At the time, I often wondered if my small Christian school education had me prepared for college, and then law school.
Scott, and his wife Cathy Cox Gwartney (NFC class of 1984) currently reside in Tallahassee with their three children.
Gwartney brought his practice to the Brooks LeBoeuf, Bennett, Foster & Gwartney, P.A., in 2002. The Connor & Gwartney law firmed eventually merged into the Wilkes & McHugh law firm.

Gwartney began his legal career with acclaimed civil trial lawyer Kenneth L. Scott graduated from Liberty University, magna cum laude, in 1985 and from the Florida State University College of Law in 1991. "Notable Noles" is a reference to the informal shorthand for Seminoles, the Native American tribe affiliated with Florida State.He is a frequent lecturer in issues related to medical malpractice and long-term care litigation.
Liang earned a doctorate at Florida State University and her undergraduate degree at Zhejiang Gongshang University in China. Liang currently provides methodological expertise on two projects for state agencies, an analysis of correction education for the Arkansas Department of Correction and a statewide needs assessment for Arkansas Rehabilitation Services. She serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Psychoeducational Assessment. Last year, she published an article in the journal Structural Equation Modeling: A Multidisciplinary Journal. Liang's research focuses on structural equation model and Bayesian data analysis. They were to be formally presented at a dinner Friday, Nov. Xinya Liang, an assistant professor in educational statistics and research methods, is one of 22 Florida State alumni under age 35 named to the 2018 Notable Noles, "in recognition of their significant contributions to their professions, communities or alma mater." Xinya Liang, a faculty member in the Department of Rehabilitation, Human Resources and Communication Disorders, was honored Friday by her alma mater, Florida State University.
